Your buddy steps on your rod in the drift boat, your puppy thinks the new cork on your Diesel is a chew toy, or you get the snag of the century and yank like there is no tomorrow.

Yes, rods break and accidents happen and at Red Truck we want you to know that you’re in good hands.  All Red Truck Rods and Reels are backed by our 1-year manufacturers limited warranty for the original owner and after that replacement sections are available for a fee.

Red Truck Fly Fishing Co. Diesel, Diesel HS and 1953 Fly Rods

If you have a warranty need, most times you don’t have to send us the entire rod. We can ship the section directly to you usually in 5-7 business days, sometimes even faster.  All you need to do is email us at info@redtruckflyfishing.com and we can get take your information to process the warranty.

Cost for sending out a  replacement section for your fly rod is listed below (shipping fee based on shipping location):

Diesel – Single-Hand rod part warranty costs: Tip section – $90,  #2 section – $100, #3 section – $100, Grip section – $120

Diesel – Switch and Spey rod part warranty costs: Tip section – $90,  #2 section – $100, #3 section – $100, Grip section – $120

Diesel GLASS – Tip Section – $90, #2 section – $100,  #3 section – $100 (3WT, 6WT, 8WT) – Grip section – $120

1953 rod part warranty costs: $50 per section #1-3, Grip section $80

  • Canada and International Customers – shipping fee will be based on shipping location.
  • Although not often, colors and components can vary between original and replacement parts.

Red Truck Fly Fishing Co.  Premium Fly Rods (discontinued) – Please contact us directly if you have a Premium series fly rod.  We do have parts still available for some of these discontinued rods and the warranty fees are the same as the above Diesel rods.

If by chance we do not have the correct section available, your rod will be replaced with the current Diesel series for a $250 (single-hand) or $300 (Switch or Spey), plus shipping fees and you will be required to send in the remaining sections of your Premium rod.

Red Truck Fly Fishing Co. Fly Reels –Although rare, reel warranties can happen. Often time we can simply assist you via email (info@redtruckflyfishing.com) with reel issues or send you the necessary part you might need (fees based on parts).

Returns

We want you to know we have your back so if you are unsatisfied with any of our products we’ll give you 30 days to return the product for a full refund.  After 30 days you can still return the product to us for an exchange or a store credit for future purchases.

  • item must be in new sellable condition
  • customer is responsible for paying all return shipping fees
