This rod is my bread n butter, fishing it with streamers for both salt and sweet water fish on the west coast of Sweden, packed with plenty of power to fight wind and long cast, but yet sensitive enough to fight fish with out feeling like a steel rod. If you want a rod that casts like a mule kick but is sensitive like a ballerina then look no further!

I love the 6wt diesel rod. It is the perfect rod when your getting into speckled trout on the flats! I like to hand this rod to clients because i know there going to love the crisp feel and fast tip of this rod. And don’t worry, it’ll fight above it’s weight for sure, it has a nice lower section that can handle some larger fish. We have gotten into some voracious bluefish with this rod and it was flawless! Super fun, unique blank and great action. Can’t ask for more than that!!
This rod is a pleasure to fish with. It casts beautiful and has the power to back up a heavy sinking line. One of my favorites. It has been used for Trout, bass, pike and even a saltwater adventure.

The best all purpose fly rod we have so far had in our hands and we have had many!
RTD #6 is a very versatile long casting rod that is also excellent for roll casting. It is our number one choice for grayling, brown trout, barbel and carp. Only for very light tippets we go to five weight and for extreme wind (bonefish etc.) or really big streamers we prefer seven or eight weight.
The RT Diesel 690 is an incredibly strong rod without lacking the finesse of a six weight. It is awesome to fish on the coast for some European sea trouts as well as for fishing freshwater systems for European perch with sinking lines that reach the bottom. Also fishing for salmonids in rivers and lakes with both nymphs and small streamers worked like charm and it can handle quite some pressure, which makes it possible to counter windy conditions and fight even big trout in heavy currents. Overall a really good around talent for both fresh and salt water.
I love this Rod! Strong, light and sensitive all in one. I use this rod for nymphing big bugs, dries, streamers on a sink tip and I love it for long casts to boiling strippers at Lake Powell. Very versatile rod that is steady in the hand for accurate casts. Looks great and high quality.

This rod is an instant favorite. It’s cast is perfection. From its ability to launch streamers, to its laser beam tracking, and direct sensitivity, this rod is my A1 from Day 1. I would recommend this rod to any serious fly fisherman. Looking forward to adding more of these to my arsenal.
